Oradea topped Craiova on the road and punched the semifinal tickets. The game without a history. Oradea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Oradea shot 24 for 33 from the free-throw line, while Craiova only scored six points from the stripe. 27 personal fouls committed by Craiova helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for Australian-Trinidad and Tobago swingman Daniel Dillon (194-86, college: Arizona) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 9 rebounds. The former international Titus Nicoara (203-88, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Oradea players scored in double figures. Croatian guard Petar Babic (190-85) answered with 13 points and American guard Travis Bureau (203-88, college: La-Lafayette) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Craiova. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
