Herner upset Chemnitz on the road to step closer to the DBBL Bronze medals. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Herner TC's pressure prevailed and they won that period 28-17 extending their advantage to 17 points. American point guard Quenese Davis (177-88, college: San Diego St.) stepped up and scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and Finnish guard Henna Salomaa (176-89, college: Oakland) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. Herner TC's coach Marek Piotrowski used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side international point guard Tina Menz (175-88) responded with 22 points and 7 rebounds and American center Carly Noyes (195-90, college: Washington St.) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds.
