There was an upset in Rodou where higher ranked Aris (12-14) was edged by eleventh ranked Kolossos (10-16) 72-69 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Kolossos made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Forward Kostas Kakaroudis (204-83, agency: 011 Sports) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Nontas Papantoniou (190-90) chipped in 12 points during the contest. The former international forward Michalis Pelekanos (198-81) responded with 17 points and 6 assists and point guard Eleftherios Bochoridis (193-94) scored 18 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Kolossos moved-up to ninth place, which they share with AGOR. Loser Aris dropped to the seventh position with 14 games lost.
