No shocking result in a game when third ranked Tijuana Zonkeys (13-5) defeated at home bottom-ranked Mineros de Caborca (3-15) 93-82. The game was mostly controlled by Tijuana Zonkeys. Mineros de Caborca was better in third quarter 28-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Tijuana Zonkeys won last quarter 21-12. They were well out of reach of Mineros de Caborca shooting 213.2 percent from the field. Tijuana Zonkeys shot the lights out from three nailing 24 long-distance shots on high 342.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Mineros de Caborca's players. They maintain third position with 13-5 record having just two points less than leader Hermosillo. Mineros de Caborca lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 15 games lost. Tijuana Zonkeys will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
