Herner held off visiting Chemnitz and celebrared the DBBL Bronze medals. ChemCats Chemnitz trailed by 16 points after 3 quarters before a 17-10 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 66-75 at the end of the game. Herner TC made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. American point guard Quenese Davis (177-88, college: San Diego St.) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Czech guard Katarina Flasarova (171-85) chipped in 14 points during the contest. Herner TC's coach Marek Piotrowski used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Candace Williams (184-88, college: New Hampshire) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and international point guard Tina Menz (175-88) scored 12 points.
