Liga Endesa top team - Real Madrid (29-1) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat seventh ranked CAI Zaragoza (16-14) 92-79. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 53-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Real Madrid made 17-of-17 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They also forced 19 CAI Zaragoza turnovers and outrebounded them 80-65 including 32 on the offensive glass. Real Madrid looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. 37 personal fouls committed by CAI Zaragoza helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International Rudy Fernandez (198-85) scored 30 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international Sergio Llull (192-87) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists during the contest.
