No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Sluc Nancy (18-12) smashed at home 15th ranked Olympique Antibes (6-24) 85-58 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Sluc Nancy. Olympique Antibes was better in third quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sluc Nancy looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American Austin Nichols (200-82, college: Humboldt St.) who scored 20 points. The other American import forward Randal Falker (201-85, college: S.Illinois) chipped in 9 points and 8 rebounds. Sluc Nancy had such big advantage that coach Alain Weisz felt comfortable to give the chance to play for 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Anthony Hilliard (193-86, college: Elizabeth City) who recorded 15 points and center Nicolas de Jong (209-88) added 8 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Sluc Nancy moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Dijon and Paris-Levallois. Newly promoted Olympique Antibes keeps the fifteenth position with 24 games lost.
