Budivelnyk outgunned Khimik in Yuzhny to take the lead in the championship series. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 41-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward DaJuan Summers (203-88, college: Georgetown, agency: Priority Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Latvian point guard Janis Strelnieks (191-89) contributed with 16 points and 7 assists for the winners. American point guard Paul Delaney (188-86, college: UAB) answered with 11 points and 6 assists and the other American import Romeo Travis (201-84, college: Akron) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Khimik. Khimik's coach Karlis Muiznieks rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
