Targoviste held off ICIM Arad in overtime to regain the lead in the championship series. ICIM Arad was tied after three quarters and then recorded another tie at the end of regular time. They were eventually defeated in overtime 8-10s. CSM Targoviste dominated on the defensive end, holding ICIM Arad to just 7 points in third quarter. It was a great shooting night for CSM Targoviste especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when CSM Targoviste made 8 blocks. It was a great evening for American-FYR Macedonian Chrissy Givens (180-85, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. American center Jenna Smith (191-88, college: Illinois) helped adding 13 points and 14 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Jence Rhoads (180-88, college: Vanderbilt) with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import power forward Monique Coker (188-82, college: ODU, agency: Regeneracom Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds.
