Edirne kept their record spotless with a comfortable victory over Cankaya. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 23-15. But Cankaya won second period 20-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American center Marcedes Marie Walker (191-86, college: Pittsburgh) who led her team to a victory with 7 points and 18 rebounds. Guard Oya Salter (170-76) contributed with 20 points for the winners. American power forward Sharon Houston (191-88, college: Indiana NW) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks and Munevver Basak (-86) added 19 points in the effort for Cankaya. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
