Finals Game 2: Khimik - Budivelnyk 73-70

Khimik bounced back from the starting loss and evened the championship series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Budivelnyk won third quarter 21-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Budivelnyk 41-27 including 27 on the defensive glass. Latvian Rolands Freimanis (206-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard Paul Delaney (188-86, college: UAB) contributed with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Khimik's coach Karlis Muiznieks used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Lithuanian center Darjus Lavrinovic (212-79) replied with 20 points and American forward DaJuan Summers (203-88, college: Georgetown, agency: Priority Sports) added 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Budivelnyk. Four Budivelnyk players scored in double figures.
