No shocking result in a game when second ranked Frayles de Guasave (16-6) defeated on the road 6th ranked Garra Canera de Navolato (8-14) 99-81 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Frayles de Guasave. Garra Canera de Navolato was better in second period 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Frayles de Guasave dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Garra Canera de Navolato's 40. The best player for the winners was American center DeAngelo Riley (206-88, college: Azusa Pacific) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. The other American import guard Jeremie Hart (188, college: McMurry) chipped in 23 points. Frayles de Guasave's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Ronald Selleaze (197-76, college: CSU Bakersfield) who recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Froylan Verdugo (196-79) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively.
