Bayern left no chance for visiting Ludwigsburg in the first game of the series. The game was mostly controlled by Bayern Muenchen. EnBW Ludwigsburg was better in fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bayern Muenchen made 26-of-31 charity shots (83.9 percent) during the game. American Keaton Grant (193-86, college: Purdue) answered with 16 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import point guard Michael Stockton (185-89, college: Westminster, UT) added 8 points and 6 assists in the effort for EnBW Ludwigsburg. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
