Quarter-Finals Round 1: Darussafaka - Final Genclik 90-73

Darussafaka overcame visiting Final Genclik in the first game of the quarterfinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Darussafaka. Final Genclik was better in third quarter 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Quincy Douby (190-84, college: Rutgers) stepped up and scored 22 points and 5 assists for the winners and power forward Nezih Ozbakir (206-80) chipped in 19 points. Four Darussafaka players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Reginald Holmes (193-87, college: Morgan St., agency: Two Points) responded with 18 points and 5 assists and the other American import forward Marshall Moses (198-89, college: Oklahoma St., agency: Ali Guney BA) scored 20 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
