Semi-Finals Game 3: Cherno More - Lukoil Acad. 85-69

Cherno More celebrated the first victory in the semifinal series as they rolled past Lukoil Academik. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a great shooting night for Cherno More especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The best player for the winners was Serbian power forward Miljan Pupovic (210-83) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. The former international point guard Asen Velikov (187-86) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists. Four Cherno More players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Croatian center Jure Lalic (209-86, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who recorded 18 points and 8 rebounds and American Tony Weeden (183-83, college: Chicago St., agency: Three Eye Sports) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
