Semi-Finals Game 5: Gussing - Zepter Vienna 78-65

Gussing edged visiting Zepter Vienna to book the spot in the Finals. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-65. Gussing Knights made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. American guard Anthony Shavies (191-83, college: Missouri St., agency: Interperformances) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners and his fellow American import forward Travis Taylor (203-90, college: Xavier) chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds. Gussing Knights' coach Matthias Zollner used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Stjepan Stazic (199-78) scored 17 points.
