Regular Season Round 49: Pacific Caesar - NSH GMC 52-57

Bottom-ranked NSH GMC managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of twenty four consecutive loses. This time they won against eleventh-ranked Pacific Caesar in Surabaya 57-52. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Pacific Caesar won third quarter 10-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard R. Azzaryan Pradhitya (181-92) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and point guard Imanudin Husnuzan (168-81) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. NSH GMC's coach Mayckel Ferdinandus allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side Airlangga Sabara (190-85) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and forward Gege Nagata (185-88) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. NSH GMC maintains twelfth place with 2-29 record. Pacific Caesar lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 25 games lost. NSH GMC will play against higher ranked CLS Knights (#3) in Surabaya in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pacific Caesar will have a break next round.
