Artland Dragons snatched a narrow road victory over Brose Baskets to secure 2-1 lead. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 20-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Artland Dragons shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. The best player for the winners was American forward Lawrence Hill (203-87, college: Stanford) who scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import center Kenny Frease (212-89, college: Xavier) chipped in 15 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Artland Dragons players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Sharrod Ford (206-82, college: Clemson) who recorded 14 points and 5 rebounds and Trinidad and Tobago-American center D'or Fischer (211-81, college: W.Virginia) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Brose Baskets' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
