Semi-Finals Game 5: Balkan - Levski Sofia 93-100

Levski celebrated the third straight victory in the series versus Balkan and advanced into NBL Finals. Balkan was trailing by 10 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 30-22 charge of Levski Sofia, which allowed them to win the game. They made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Levski Sofia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. 25 personal fouls committed by Balkan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American forward Jumaine Jones (202-79, college: Georgia) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Lionel Chalmers (184-80, college: Xavier) chipped in 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Levski Sofia's coach Konstantin Papazov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international Pavel Marinov (199-88, agency: Interperformances) produced 37 points (!!!) and American forward Noah Dahlman (200-89, college: Wofford) added 19 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five Levski Sofia and four Balkan players scored in double figures.
