Quarter-Finals Round 3: Galatasaray - Besiktas 78-65

Galatasaray held off visiting Besiktas to gain the decisive second victory in the quarterfinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Galatasaray. Besiktas managed to win third quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 25 personal fouls committed by Besiktas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for international Sinan Guler (192-83, college: Carroll, MT, agency: 1x1 Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points. Puerto Rican point guard Carlos Arroyo (188-79, college: FIU, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 12 points and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard Chris Lofton (188-86, college: Tennessee, agency: Allegiant Athletic Agency) with 24 points and Bosnian center Kenan Bajramovic (205-81) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
