An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Culiacan. First ranked Rayos de Hermosillo faced 4th ranked Caballeros de Culiacan. Guests from Hermosillo (22-6) defeated host Caballeros de Culiacan (15-13) 84-73. The game without a history. Rayos de Hermosillo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Rayos de Hermosillo outrebounded Caballeros de Culiacan 39-27 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard A.J. Davis (198-87, college: JMU) who scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Reginald Larry (198-86, college: Boise St.) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Rayos de Hermosillo players scored in double figures.
