Very expected game in Madrid where 12th ranked Asefa Estudiantes (12-21) was crushed by third ranked Regal FC Barcelona (26-7) 77-51. It looked good early as Asefa Estudiantes took an 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Regal FC Barcelona had a 25-10 second period charge getting the lead and Asefa Estudiantes was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 51-77. They outrebounded Asefa Estudiantes 73-50 including a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Regal FC Barcelona players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists. 35 personal fouls committed by Asefa Estudiantes helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for Alejandro Abrines (198-93) who led his team to a victory with 15 points. Polish-Swedish power forward Maciej Lampe (211-85) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Slovenian power forward Uros Slokar (21-83) answered with 10 points and 6 rebounds and Italian-Argentinian Federico Van Lacke (191-80) added 8 points in the effort for Asefa Estudiantes.
