We should not miss the game where seventh ranked Kvarner (4-10) against 4th ranked Alkar Sinj (5-9) where Kvarner won at home by twelve points 73-61. The game without a history. Kvarner led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Strangely Alkar Sinj outrebounded Kvarner 39-19 including a 14-0 advantage in offensive rebounds. Power forward Jure Skific (202-88) notched 15 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and guard Dino Stipcic (195-89) supported him with 7 points and 8 rebounds. Even 12 points and 6 rebounds by guard Mirko Modric (196-81) did not help to save the game for Alkar Sinj. Bosnian center Mato Peraica (203-81) added 10 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kvarner moved-up to sixth place, which they share with KK Zagreb. Alkar Sinj at the other side keeps the fourth position with nine games lost.
