Very important is a road loss of second ranked Valencia Basket (30-4) against ninth ranked FIATC Joventut (16-18) on Sunday night. Visiting Valencia Basket was defeated by FIATC Joventut in a tough game in Badalona 73-78. It ended at the same time the 13-game winning streak of Valencia Basket. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Valencia Basket won fourth quarter 21-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Central African swingman Romain Sato (194-81, college: Xavier) replied with 14 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Oliver Lafayette (188-84, college: Houston, agency: Beo Basket) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Valencia Basket.
