Semi-Finals Game 4: Istanbul B.B. - Pamukkale 71-64

Date: May 31, 2014
Istanbul B.B. held off visiting Pamukkale to clinch the championship series birth. It looked good early as Pamukkale took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Istanbul B.B. had a 21-10 second period charge getting the lead and Pamukkale was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 64-71. Pamukkale was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by American forward Eric Buckner (208-90, college: Georgia St., agency: David Lee services) who scored that evening 22 points and 7 rebounds and guard Ilker Turel (190-83) supported him with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds by American guard Osiris Eldridge (191-88, college: Illinois St.) did not help to save the game for Pamukkale. Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) added 15 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
