EWE Baskets celebrated the second straight victory over Bayern Munich. They held off their opponents in Oldenburg to force the decisive fifth game in the series. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 25-7 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. EWE Baskets dominated on the defensive end, holding Bayern Muenchen to just 7 points in third quarter. The game was dominated by American players. point guard Julius Jenkins (187-81, college: Georgia South) fired 20 points for the winners. Power forward Adam Chubb (207-81, college: Pennsylvania) chipped in 10 points and 5 rebounds.
