Bayern Muenchen advanced into BBL Finals. They thumped visiting EWE Baskets in the decisive fifth game of the semifinal series. Bayern will now take on ALBA for the trophy. The game without a history. Bayern Muenchen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Bayern Muenchen outrebounded EWE Baskets 43-25 including 16 on the offensive glass. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Deon Thompson (203-88, college: N.Carolina) who scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Malcolm Delaney (191-89, college: Virginia Tech) chipped in 17 points. Four Bayern Muenchen players scored in double figures. point guard Julius Jenkins (187-81, college: Georgia South) produced 20 points and point guard Dru Joyce (183-85, college: Akron, agency: LUMANI 10.7) added 9 points respectively for the guests.
