Regular Season Round 10: Shaanxi W. - Hang Sen Guayzhou 100-103

The most exciting game of round 10 in the NBL took place in Xian. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Shaanxi W. (7-3) to fourth ranked Hang Sen Guayzhou (7-3) 103-100 in the game for the third place. Shaanxi W. was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 28-23 charge of Hang Sen Guayzhou, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Tyler Wilkerson (203-88, college: Marshall) had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Delong Weng (195-87) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American center Keith Benson (210-88, college: Oakland) responded with 28 points and 9 rebounds and forward MingLiang Wei (195-82) scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Shaanxi W.'s coach QingLong Wu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hang Sen Guayzhou have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Shaanxi W. Hang Sen Guayzhou is looking forward to face league's leader Chongqing FD in Guangzhou in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Shaanxi W. will play on the road against the league's second-placed Jiangsu TX and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
