Bayern Muenchen victoriously opened their championship clash versus ALBA. Bayern celebrated a tough home win to grab the lead in the series. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-81. Bayern Muenchen made 39-of-50 free shots (78.0 percent) during the game, while ALBA Berlin only scored thirteen points from the stripe.
