The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Jiang Xi's (3-10) road loss to ninth ranked Nanjin Army (5-8) 79-92. The game was mostly controlled by Nanjin Army. Jiang Xi was better in third quarter 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Nanjin Army forced 24 Jiang Xi turnovers. It was a very good performance for point guard Xiang Tianyu (185-92) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. Forward Shengyue Sun (198-89) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. They keep the tenth position with ten games lost. Nanjin Army's next round opponent will be higher ranked Shaanxi W. (#3) in Xian and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jiang Xi will play against Hang Sen Guayzhou (#4) and hope to win that game.
