Regular Season Round 2: Titanicos - Fuerza Regia 75-95

No shocking result in a game when Fuerza Regia (2-0) crushed on the road Titanicos (0-2) 95-75. The game was mostly controlled by Fuerza Regia. Titanicos was better in fourth quarter 25-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fuerza Regia forced 21 Titanicos turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: Long Beach St.) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import guard Carl Elliott (193-83, college: G.Washington, agency: SportsTalent) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Isaiah Wilkerson (190-90, college: NJIT) produced 26 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international forward Michael Lizarraga (200-89, college: CS Northridge) added 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fuerza Regia's next round opponent will be Jefes, which may be the game of the day. Titanicos will play against Correcaminos in Ciudad Victoria and hope to win that game.
