Pioneros (2-1) recorded a loss in Veracruz. Visitors were defeated by Halcones Rojos (2-1) 73-60. Halcones Rojos dominated on the defensive end, holding Pioneros to just 7 points in second quarter. It was a good game for Puerto Rican swingman David Huertas (195-87, college: Mississippi) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 6 assists.
