Very predictable result when Strasbourg IG (2-0) smashed on the road Entente Orleans 45 (0-2) 82-60 on Saturday. The game without a history. Strasbourg IG led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 64.2 percent from the field. Strasbourg IG outrebounded Entente Orleans 45 37-22 including a 31-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Strasbourg IG especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Serbian power forward Tadija Dragicevic (206-86, agency: Beo Basket) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Ali Traore (207-85, college: S.Idaho JC, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Strasbourg IG players scored in double figures. Strasbourg IG's coach Vincent Collet felt very confident that he used 10 players saving starting five for next games. American swingman David Noel (200-84, college: N.Carolina) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Kyle McAlarney (185-87, college: Notre Dame) scored 14 points. Strasbourg IG will face Pau-Lacq-Orthez on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Entente Orleans 45 will play against SO Maritime Boulogne in Boulogne-sur-Mer and hope to win that game.
