Quite upsetting was Caceres Basket's home defeat in a game versus Zornotza 73-67. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Serbian forward Sasa Borovnjak (206-89, college: Penn St.) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Ander Garcia (194-89) chipped in 13 points. Forward Anaterve Cruz (196-86, agency: Interperformances) produced 18 points and American-Ugandan forward Brandon Sebirumbi (205-90, college: Furman, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Caceres Basket's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Zornotza will meet at home Castello in the next round. Caceres Basket will play against Fuenlabrada in Madrid and hope to win that game.
