Quite upsetting was UL Huskies' home defeat in a game versus WIT Wildcats 58-50. WIT Wildcats outrebounded UL Huskies 43-30 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Olivia Applewhite (183, college: Dayton) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 19 rebounds for the winners. Her fellow American import guard Diara Moore (170-92, college: Mississippi, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. WIT Wildcats' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Kelsey Harris (180, college: Elon) produced 27 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and O Woods added 12 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side. WIT Wildcats will meet at home Brunell in the next round. UL Huskies will play against 11890 Killester and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
