Important game to mention about took place in Parnu. KK Parnu (1-0) saved a 2-point victory at home edging TYCO Rapla (0-1) 77-75 on Sunday evening. TYCO Rapla was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 21-12 charge of KK Parnu, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely TYCO Rapla outrebounded KK Parnu 44-29 including 17 on the offensive glass. TYCO Rapla was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Latvian guard Sandis Silavs (195-88) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Janis Vahter (196-86) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Rait Keerles (201-80, agency: Promotex) answered with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Martin Paasoja (191-93) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for TYCO Rapla. KK Parnu will play against TLU/Kalev in Tallinn in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. TYCO Rapla will have a break next round.
