Regular Season Round 1: Lavezzini PR - Lucca 59-72

Date: October 5, 2014
An interesting game was also tough home loss of Lavezzini PR in a game in Parma versus Lucca 72-58. The game was mostly controlled by Lucca. Lavezzini PR managed to win fourth quarter 20-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Kayla Pedersen (193-89, college: Stanford, agency: LBM Management) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and international swingman Martina Crippa (178-89, agency: Players Group) accounted for 12 points. Four Lucca players scored in double figures. American guard Christine Clark (180, college: Harvard) came up with 22 points and 6 rebounds and Ukrainian power forward Olga Maznichenko (190-91, agency: LBM Management) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Lavezzini PR in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lucca will meet at home Familia Schio in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lavezzini PR will play against Ragusa and hope to win that game.
