Regular Season Round 3: Alvik Basket - Polisen 87-79

Alvik Basket (4-0) added another victory to their record. This time they beat Polisen (1-2) in Bromma 87-79. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Polisen won third quarter 19-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Polisen 49-36 including 18 on the offensive glass. Alvik Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for forward Richard Hartmann (203-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 19 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Miller Anton contributed with 27 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Papy Ndiaye (187-94) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Rami Ghanem (183-93) added 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Polisen. Polisen's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Alvik Basket's next round opponent will be Taby Basket at home which should be theoretically an easy game. Polisen's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Stockholm 08 Stockholm.
