Regular Season Round 2: Handlova - Rieker KN 74-82

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Handlova (1-1) at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by Rieker KN (2-0) 82-74. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Handlova won third quarter 24-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Slovenian forward Sinisa Bilic (201-89) scored 17 points to lead the charge for the winners and Czech forward Filip Halada (198-92) chipped in 16 points during the contest. Montenegrin guard Milos Djurisic (194-88) responded with 25 points and 6 rebounds and Croatian swingman Luka Drezga (196-87, agency: XL Basketball Agency) scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Rieker KN are looking forward to face Nitra in Nitra in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Handlova will play on the road against Levice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
