Regular Season Round 2: Parnu - TLU/Kalev 65-49

KK Parnu defeated TLU/Kalev at home 65-49. The game was mostly controlled by KK Parnu. TLU/Kalev managed to win second period 20-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 25 personal fouls committed by TLU/Kalev helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Janis Vahter (196-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Rannar Raap (188-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian center Robertas Grabauskas (208-90, college: Northwood) replied with 6 points and 12 rebounds and forward Erik Luts (201-86) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for TLU/Kalev. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TLU/Kalev will play next round against strong TYCO Rapla trying to get back on the winning streak. KK Parnu will try to continue on its current victory against TU/Rock in Tartu.
