Regular Season Round 2: Tromso - Nidaros Jets 81-71

Very important is a road loss of Nidaros Jets (0-2) against Tromso (2-0) on Saturday night. Visiting Nidaros Jets were defeated by Tromso in Tromso 81-71. It looked good early as Nidaros Jets took an 13-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Tromso took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 10 points. They also forced 19 Nidaros Jets turnovers. Forward Arne Ingebrigtsen (197-90, college: Cuesta JC) notched 23 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Keon Lawrence (187-87, college: Seton Hall) supported him with 24 points and 5 rebounds. Tromso's coach Kenneth Webb allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds by Australian guard Matthew Adekponya (186-90, agency: Court Side) did not help to save the game for Nidaros Jets. American power forward Brandon Moore (208-89, college: Southern, agency: SDJ Sports) added 13 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks for the guests. Tromso will play against Froya Basket in Laksevag in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Nidaros Jets will play at home against Centrum and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
