Regular Season Round 2: TTU - Tarvas 53-70

The game in Tallinn was also worth to mention about. BC Rakvere (2-0) played at the court of TTU (1-2). BC Rakvere did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 70-53. It looked good early as TTU took an 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then BC Rakvere took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 17 points. They dominated on the defensive end, holding TTU to just 7 points in third quarter. BC Rakvere forced 23 TTU turnovers. International point guard Sten-Timmu Sokk (183-89) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Martin Jurtom (199-94) chipped in 14 points during the contest. Swingman Jaan Puidet (191-92) responded with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and American center Andrew Arnold (208-86, college: Lewis-Clark St.) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BC Rakvere will play against KK Parnu on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. TTU will have a break next round.
