The game with biggest result difference took place in Kotka. Local Peli-Karhut (1-1) outscored Pyrinto (0-2) 79-55. The game without a history. Peli-Karhut led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Pyrinto to just 7 points in first quarter. Peli-Karhut forced 20 Pyrinto turnovers and outrebounded them 44-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. American swingman Jasmine Gill (185-90, college: JMU) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 18 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import forward Natasha Thames (183-91, college: Temple) supported her with 22 points and 5 steals. Four Peli-Karhut players scored in double figures. Even 18 points by Hendderson Brittany did not help to save the game for Pyrinto. Forward Kaisa Lind (179-87) added 17 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Peli-Karhut's next round opponent will be Torpan Pojat in Helsinki.
