Regular Season Round 3: Limoges - Rouen 92-62

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of SPO Rouen (2-1) on the court of Limoges CSP Elite on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Limoges CSP Elite 92-62. Limoges CSP Elite led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to SPO Rouen's 30. They outrebounded SPO Rouen 36-17 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Limoges CSP Elite especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Adrien Moerman (203-88) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Naturalized Ivorian guard Pape-Philippe Amagou (186-85, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 18 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Limoges CSP Elite's coach Jean-Marc Dupraz felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Italian-American forward Joe Trapani (203-88, college: Boston Coll.) who recorded 15 points and 5 rebounds and the former international point guard Abdoulaye M'Baye (189-88) added 10 points and 5 assists respectively. Limoges CSP Elite is looking forward to face STB Le Havre on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SPO Rouen will play against JL Bourg and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
