Regular Season Round 3: Astoria Bydg. - Rosa II Radom 72-71

A very interesting game took place in Bydgoszcz. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of Rosa II Radom (1-2) to Astoria Bydg. (1-2) 72-71 in the fight for the seventh place. The hosts were already 11 points ahead at halftime and as many as 15 after three quarters before a 27-13 last quarter charge of Rosa II Radom cut the lead to 72-71 at the end of the game. It was a good game for guard Marcin Dymala (188-90) who saved his team from a defeat with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Center Mateusz Fatz (205-96) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. point guard Jakub Schenk (185-94) answered with 20 points and 5 assists and forward Lukasz Bonarek (200-93, college: MSU-West Plains) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Rosa II Radom. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Astoria Bydg.'s next round opponent will be Krosno on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
