Regular Season Round 3: Tromso - Froya Basket 77-74

The most important game of round 3 took place in Tromso where Tromso edged Froya Basket (2-1) 77-74 on Sunday night. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a great evening for American guard Keon Lawrence (187-87, college: Seton Hall) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Arne Ingebrigtsen (197-90, college: Cuesta JC) helped adding 21 points and 5 rebounds. Tromso's coach Kenneth Webb used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was swingman Hamad Mostafa (196-86) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and Latvian guard Edmunds Gabrans (189-79) scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Froya Basket will play next round against Gimle BBK trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Tromso will try to continue on its current victory against Centrum in Oslo.
