Very expected game when bottom-ranked Shimane Magic (0-4) was defeated at home by third ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (3-1) 76-72 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 23-14 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Hamamatsu Phoenix made 28-of-35 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game, while Shimane Magic only scored eleven points from the stripe.
