Undefeated Osorno (2-1) recorded its first loss in Santiago on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by top-ranked Colo Colo (3-0) 82-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Osorno. The hosts trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 4 points. American swingman O'Louis McCullough (198-82, college: Francis Marion) fired 25 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The other American import power forward Pervis Pasco (206-81, college: Kansas St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Four Colo Colo players scored in double figures. American forward Grady Reynolds (198-80, college: St.John's) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international power forward Renato Vera (199-87) added 20 points respectively for lost side. Osorno's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Colo Colo have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Osorno at the other side dropped to the fifth position with one game lost. They share it with CDU Concepcion. Colo Colo are looking forward to face Puente Alto at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Osorno will play against Deportivo Valdivia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
