The guests trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 26-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. CAI Zaragoza outrebounded CB Canarias 37-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. American forward Marcus Landry (201-85, college: Wisconsin) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian power forward Stevan Jelovac (208-89, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. American forward Luke Sikma (203-89, college: Portland) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and Montenegrin center Blagota Sekulic (209-82, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 17 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. CAI Zaragoza is looking forward to face Valencia Basket at home in the next round. CB Canarias will play against Asefa Estudiantes in Madrid and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
