Regular Season Round 3: AZS PP - Spojnia 43-76

The game in Poznan supposed to be also quite interesting. Spojnia (3-0) played at the court of AZS PP (1-2). Spojnia smashed AZS PP 76-43 on Sunday. The game without a history. Spojnia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding AZS PP to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Spojnia had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was power forward Arkadiusz Soczewski (201-82) who scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Rafal Bigus (214-76, college: Villanova) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Spojnia players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Konrad Rzeczkowski (180-92) who recorded 8 points and Michal Wielechowski (198-94) added 8 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Spojnia will meet at home Rosa II Radom in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. AZS PP will play against Stal Ostrow and hope to win that game.
